Job Description

As a Junior Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our web applications. You will collaborate with senior developers, designers, and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality web solutions. This position requires a solid understanding of web development principles, a creative approach to problem-solving, and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
  • Assist in developing server-side logic using technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python.
  • Perform testing and debugging of web applications to ensure they function correctly across different browsers and devices.
  • Work with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB to store and retrieve data efficiently.
  • Collaborate with designers and senior developers to create user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to code, development processes, and user manuals.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the development process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Basic understanding of server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python).
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of back-end frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or Laravel.
  • Familiarity with web development tools and libraries like Bootstrap, jQuery, and Sass.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
